What to Bring to ACF

The ACF is all about self sufficiency, so come prepared! If you don’t have access to an item on the list, don’t worry - just email organizers at operations@adaptiveclimbersfest.org and we’ll get you sorted! Make sure to mark all of your gear.

Climbing Gear:

If you’re a new climber, you may not have much of this. We’ll put an asterisk next to items that everyone will need, so if you don’t have it you should reach out. If you are an outfitted climber nerd, bring the rest!

  • Harness*

  • Climbing Shoes*

  • Helmet*

  • 2 Liters of water bottles/bladders*

  • Large Backpack or Daybag*

  • Belay Device

  • Climbing Ropes, 60m minimum but 70m is better

  • Quickdraws

  • Spare Lockers

  • Cordalette/anchor material

  • SNACKS

Camping Gear:

  • Tent (if you’re not staying in a cabin)

  • WARM sleeping bag, lows are expecting to be in the low 40’s/high 30’s

  • Sleeping pad, foam under air pad will keep you warmest

  • Pillow

  • Towel

  • Mess Kit (mug, plate, bowl, silverware) - you’ll get two extra raffle tickets if you bring your own!

  • Camp Chair

Personal Gear

  • Plan to dress warm!

  • Warm puffy jacket

  • Rain Coat

  • Mid Layers

  • T Shirt

  • Shorts

  • Long Pants

  • Sunscreen and Bug Spray

  • Personal Medications

  • Toiletries like toothbrush, body wipes, etc.

  • Headlamp or flashlight

  • Warm clothes to sleep in

  • Sturdy hiking shoes

  • Sun Hat/Baseball Hat

  • Warm hat, gloves/mittens

  • A glittery, shiny, stunner of an outfit - our party theme this year is “All That Glitters!”

  • Yoga Mat (if doing Hangover Yoga)
